The OPI infinite shine2 is fabulous. It is a gel/ lacquer polish that glows like a light is shining on your nails. If you’ve never used OPI products, I highly recommend them. The polish goes on smoothly, no clumps, no streaking.
Beside above, does OPI Infinite Shine damage nails?
After one week the shine was still very much. I do have to say that I’m not a fan of gel nails in general, as in my experience it does damage your nails ,including the whole getting it off process, and after wearing gel nails for a while, I find my nails to be in poor condition.

Can you use OPI Top coat as base coat?
A base coat can be used as a top coat and a top coat can be used as a base coat. But you wouldn’t get the same level of performance as if you used the correct coat.

They can be used on their own. I’ve never really had to do base coats and all that extra stuff, just a top coat for extra shine. But this one you don’t really need to as it already is in a shine finish.
How do you remove OPI Infinite Shine?

Soak a Nail Wipe with OPI Expert Touch Lacquer Remover. Press for a few seconds. Wipe off the polish in one downward motion. Before wiping again, make sure a clean area of the wipe is used to avoid staining the skin.
